Not Likely...

The plastic is injection molded from a high temp nylon blend that will only begin to fail after being above 400F for several min. I have never had a complaint of melted HH’s since my first sale in 2023.

I researched attaining a certification via NFPA but was informed that because HH is an accessory, they cannot offer certifications. So I took the testing into my own hands and hired UL (Underwriter Laboratories) to perform the same NFPA 1970 heat testing that all of our PPE undergoes. I wanted to be confident HH would perform.

HH was placed in UL’s certified ovens at 500F for 5 min and only sustained minimal heat damage. Each version of HH stayed mounted on the bunker gear, and only the tips of the product began to drip. The images below show the results of my Don/Doff and Compact HH.
